1- that was close : نزدیک بودا! مثال: that was close! You almost hit that man مثال: she was close to death
2- live in hope of sth : به امید چیزی زنده بودن ( in hope of doing sth ) I live in hope of seeing my son
3- be lost : یکی از معانی lost اینه : اعتماد بنفس نداشتن طوری که ندونی چیکار کنی و اکثرا هم با این چارچوب میاد: I’d be lost without… مثال: I’d be badly lost without your help ” بدون کمک تو بد جور لنگ می موندم (نمیدونستم چیکار کنم)”
